Dealer Connect, on the web and in the app · Effective October 16, 2026
Dealer Connect is made by Extrusia. Window and door dealers use it to quote and order from the manufacturer that supplies them. This page explains what Dealer Connect collects, why, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted.
The short version: we collect what it takes to build your quotes and send your orders. We do not sell your information, we do not show you ads, and nothing in Dealer Connect tracks you across other apps or websites.
Who is responsible for your information
Your supplier (the manufacturer who invited you) gives you your sign-in, and your quotes and orders are part of your business with them. Extrusia runs Dealer Connect for your supplier and handles your information on their behalf, as this page describes. Questions about your prices, orders or account go to your supplier. Questions about this policy or about your information go to Extrusia at support@extrusia.com.
What we collect
- Your sign-in and contact details. Your name, email address, company name, and phone number if you give one. Your password is stored only as a secure hash and we never see it.
- Your quotes and orders. The windows and doors you configure, their sizes and options, prices, notes, job names, ship-to addresses and the customer names you enter, and the orders you send to your supplier.
- Photos you choose to add. If you take or pick a photo of a window, it is attached to that quote. Before a photo leaves your phone it is re-saved without its hidden camera data, so it does not carry the location where it was taken, and we refuse any photo that still has that data.
- Measurements. When you measure with the phone's camera, scan a room, or use a Bluetooth laser measure, we keep the sizes it gives and how they were taken (for example "phone depth sensor" or "laser"). This way everyone can see how sure each size is.
- Support requests. If you ask for help, we keep what you wrote and which screen you were on.
- Basic technical records. Our servers log requests (time, page, IP address) to keep the service secure and to fix faults. These logs are not used to profile you.
The camera, room scanning and Bluetooth
- Camera. The camera is used only when you choose to measure a window or take a photo.
- Depth sensor and room scans. Camera measuring and room scanning (Apple RoomPlan) run entirely on your phone. Only the resulting sizes are sent to Dealer Connect. The 3D scan of your room, and the camera frames used to measure, are not uploaded or stored.
- Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used only to read measurements from a laser measure you pair. We do not use Bluetooth to find or track you.
- Location. Dealer Connect does not ask for or use your location.
How we use it
- To build, price, save and print your quotes, and to send your orders to your supplier.
- To show the plant's progress and what is ready to ship on your orders.
- To send the emails you ask for: sign-in codes, invitations, quotes you send, and notices about your orders.
- To read a photo for you when you ask our assistant (Josie) to identify a window.
- To answer support requests and keep the service secure and working.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run Dealer Connect. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Your supplier receives your quotes, orders, contact details, and the photos and measurements on them, because they are the ones building your order.
- Hosting and database (Vercel and Supabase) store and serve the service.
- Email delivery (Resend) sends the emails described above.
- AI photo reading (Anthropic). When you ask Josie to read a photo, that photo is sent to Anthropic's model to be analysed. Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
- Card payments (Stripe). If you pay for an order by card, Stripe takes the payment. Your card number goes to Stripe and never to us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Quotes and orders are kept as part of your business record with your supplier for as long as your account is active, or as long as your supplier keeps their records.
- A photo is deleted when its quote is deleted, or 90 days after the quote is declined and not touched. A photo on a quote that became an order stays with that order.
- Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Deleting your account and your information
You can ask us to delete your Dealer Connect account at any time. Email support@extrusia.com from the address you sign in with, or send a support request from inside Dealer Connect. We delete your sign-in and personal details. Orders you already placed may be kept by your supplier where they need them for their own records, such as invoices and warranty.
You can also ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, the same way.
Security
Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Each supplier's information is kept separate from every other supplier's. Access inside Extrusia is limited to the people who need it to run and support the service.
Children
Dealer Connect is a business tool for window and door professionals. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its effective date. If the change is significant, we will tell you in Dealer Connect or by email before it takes effect.
